This is our first collaborative collection with Sofia Sofiez focused on the reuse of second hand garments.The Atacama Desert in Chile, where we come from, is the largest clothing dump in the world where 59 tons of clothes arrive every year at the same place. There you can find new and old garments manufactured by retail under inhumane conditions of precarious labor.
This collection was made with our hands, we know what it takes to make a piece, so we know the damage that fast fashion is causing both human and ecological levels. It makes us angry and that is reflected in our art, especially our drawings. This is a critique of bad practices in the fashion industry where the overproduction of clothing hurts our souls.
